Wellington: A New Zealand father has been convicted of assault for smacking his eight-year-old son on the bottom in what is believed to be the first case under a controversial new law. The man was sentenced to nine months supervision including undergoing anger management.
The new law was passed in May removing a provision allowing parents to used ‘reasonable force’ in disciplining their children.

Watchout New Zealand government! What you have done is “Spare the rod and spoil the child”. In short term, you may look good. In long term, you may have just created a generation of children who will misbehave and be irresponsible towards their parents.
With greying population increasing each year, raising an irresponsible young generation will place a whole lot of financial burden on the government to look after the greying generation.
Think again, New Zealand government!

Dublin:Heather Milla McCartney denounced the world’s rich and famous as insufferable misers and snobs. She said this to the debating society of Trinity College Dublin. She said she reluctantly obliged to befriend the world’s wealthy - despite their nasty qualities - because this was the only way to maximize her power as an agent for change.
Blogerita says:
Heather has no reason to complain about the rich and famous as she is equally rich and famous. She gained her fame from her marriage to Beatles’ legend Paul McCartney. She became even more famous from her divorce from Paul. She is going to get richer if she is successful in her bid to get tens of millions of her famous legendary Beatles husband.
Could her second statement is the insurance in case there is a backlash against her for uttering rubbish.
Well, Heather, don’t rock the boat when you are in it or else you will have no shoulders to rub with.
