Karachi: The son of slain Pakistan People’s Party leader, Benazir Bhutto, has been appointed as the co-leader for the party. Bilawal is only 19 years old and still studying in Oxford University. The other co-leader is his father, Asif Ali Zardari.

In the press conference announcing his appointment, he claimed that he is ready to lead the party.

Bilawal Bhutto

Blogerita says:
The family name of Bhutto can really sell. Just like the family name of Ghandi in India. Bhutto family name gave Pakistan two prime ministers – Benazir and Zulfikar. Ghandi name has given India so many leaders since independent from Nehru to Indira Ghandi, Rajiv Ghandi and almost, Sonia Ghandi.

Does it mean having good family name means you are a born leader? I can’t comment for India and Pakistan. It seems to me that all Bhuttos and Ghandis are born leaders.
