Massage as perks in Australia January 3, 2008

Sydney: Australia’s top government civil servants are set to loose one of their most privilege perks of all – massage. These massage sessions are paid using tax-payers money. According to Assistant Treasurer, Chris Bowen, “This is a blatant waste of expenditure” and it has to stop.

Bowen was sympathetic towards other hardworking Australian civil servants who are equally hard-working or perhaps, worked harder than those who enjoyed these free massages.

From the data provided, the top bureaucrats at the post office were fondest of free massages.

Blogerita says:
Mr Bowen, are you sure these massages are complete ‘clean’? It’s good that you have taken it away from these top dogs in Australian civil service. Anyway, they earn big bucks. Ask them to pay for their own massages.

I would propose that you allow me to operate massage services in government offices for these top dogs to patronize. Grant me a license, please.

Hong Kong:Jet Li, the famous kung-fu actor from Hong Kong and a follower of Tibetian Buddhism, said he has met Dalai Lama and respected his teachings. But, he believes that Tibet should be unified with China. Further to that, he also believe that Taiwan should be unified with China as one country. Jet Li is famous for this role in the movie Fearless.

Taiwan split from China after the civil war in 1949 which the Communist, led by Mao Tze Tung, won. China still views Taiwan as part of China.

Chinese troop invaded Tibet in 1951 and continue to rule Tibet since then. Dalai Lama fled to India in 1959.

Blogerita says:
Leave the politics to the politicians. You continue to do what you do best - act in kung-fu movies. Since you are a public figure, do not try to make public statement else your words maybe be used by others for their own benefits.

Blogerita Says:
Comeback tour is always good to rekindle friendship, give back to good old feelings to the fans and make some more money. I may be your fan in the 90’s but this the the 21st century. I don’t spend money seeing ‘old’ singers sing. I need more refreshing songs. Not one of those from the old song list. I go for the young and energetic ones.

Spice Girls, sorry to disappoint you. No offense.

Bali:This little island in Indonesia is playing host to 10,000 delegates from 180 nations around the world to attempt to start talks on how to replace the Kyoto Protocol which will expire in 2012.

They will consider whether cuts to emission should be voluntary or mandatory, how to reduce deforestation and ways to help poor countries which are expected to suffer from severe droughts and floods due to global warming.

The meeting will face huge challenges ahead with Unites States with Australia refusing to sign to the Kyoto Protocol and the other two up and coming economic superpower, China and India, have made it clear that any agreement should not be impinging on their economic growth and attempts to eradicate poverty.

Blogerita says:
Dear politicians, you created this mess, please clean it up. We put you in your position to make the world a better place. Now, the planet is not getting healthier, do you job or else you will be booted out of office.

When you are rich November 24, 2007

Paul & Heather McCartney

Dublin:Heather Milla McCartney denounced the world’s rich and famous as insufferable misers and snobs. She said this to the debating society of Trinity College Dublin. She said she reluctantly obliged to befriend the world’s wealthy - despite their nasty qualities - because this was the only way to maximize her power as an agent for change.

Blogerita says:
Heather has no reason to complain about the rich and famous as she is equally rich and famous. She gained her fame from her marriage to Beatles’ legend Paul McCartney. She became even more famous from her divorce from Paul. She is going to get richer if she is successful in her bid to get tens of millions of her famous legendary Beatles husband.

Could her second statement is the insurance in case there is a backlash against her for uttering rubbish.

Well, Heather, don’t rock the boat when you are in it or else you will have no shoulders to rub with.

Who are the Kings and Queens of Hollywood? November 23, 2007

Posted by blogerita in : Entertainment , add a comment

Try to guess who are the real Kings and Queens of Hollywood? Hint: They don’t appear on interviews, people don’t recall their names, people don’t see their faces. Obviously, these people are not the producers, not the directors and definitely, not the actors and actresses.

Producers, directors, actors and actresses are easily replaceable. As long as you dangle the carrots in front of them, they will queue up for the jobs.

The real Kings and Queens of Hollywood are the scriptwriters. Their current strike over wages is crippling the whole industry. Many theaters are closed. Many more will follow suit. An estimate of 60 television programs will stop. Many more people will be out of their jobs.

I hope they will find an amicable solution to this problem or else my favorite television programs will go off the air soon.
