Ladies Night not unfair December 18, 2007

New York:Roy Den Hollander sued a few New York nightclubs including Lotus and China Clubs because he felt he was discriminated against by ladies’ nights which gave ladies free or heavility discounted admission to the nightspots.
However, according to defense lawyers for the nightclubs, men are not discriminated against by ‘ladies nights’ which is similar to ‘early bird’ or ‘kids eat free’ or discounts for senior citizens promotions.

Every business school students know that demand needs to be managed and influence to optimize sales and revenue. Every nightclub operator knows that girls will attract guys, so by giving out free drinks or discounted drinks, they will bring in the guys and the sales liquor and other drinks will go up.
