Sixth EPL boss to leave top job November 27, 2007

London: The sixth team manager from the English Premier League (EPL) has left the league. Derby County, sitting at the bottom of the league with one win and 13 defeats, has parted company with its manager, Billy Davies.
Billy Davies has successfully guided Derby County back to the English Premier League with a 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the final play-off at Wembley in May. This is Derby County first time back to English Premier League since 2002.

- Sept 20: Jose Mourinho (Chelsea)
- Oct 17: Sammy Lee (Bolton)
- Oct 25: Martin Jol (Tottenham)
- Nov 5: Chris Hutchings (Wigan)
- Nov 19: Steve Bruce (Birmingham)
- Nov 26: Billy Davies (Derby)

EPL is going on a team manager sacking season. It looks like this is the best and easiest decision for the board of director to take whenever a team does not meet the expectation. My advice to Billy is to take sometime off to rest and you will be back to top flight soccer soon. Best of luck to you.
